附:报告人简历

Dr Friedhelm Taube is Professor in Institute of Crop Science and Plant Breeding, Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel. He has over 20 years of experience in forage and grazing lands. He has authored or co-authored 255 papers and more than 150 abstracts and popular press articles. His research has focused on the physiology, management and use of forages in multipurpose systems. Research projects have been diverse including grazing lands ecology with special reference to steppe ecosystems, nutrient losses from forage production systems, developing dynamic simulation models for crop growth and forage quality dynamics as prognosis tools and the use of forages for bioenergy. Dr. Taube’s research has been used also by the Secretary of Agriculture and Environment to shape its agro-environmental action plans in the frame of the EU Nitrate Directive. Dr. Taube maintains a productive research collaboration with several labs from abroad. This collaboration has resulted in several scientific publications, student exchanges, and new knowledge in grassland science.
