报告人简介:

孟雷, 男, 博士,德克萨斯农工大学毕业,美国康乃尔大学博士后,主要从事陆面过程以及气候变化研究。现为西密西根大学助理教授 (tenure-track Assistant Professor)。发表研究论文22篇,其中国际核心期刊(SCI)论文20篇。在全球甲烷释放过程模拟,土壤水分陆面过程,以及土壤大气相互作用等方面取得重要研究进展。特别是在甲烷释放模型方面,建立了土壤酸碱度以及土壤氧化还原电势对甲烷产生过程的定量化过程并成功应用于全球模型 CESM中,这对于精确化全球甲烷释放总量起到了关键的作用。研究成果已在《International Journal of Climatology》、《Journal of Hydrometeorology》、《Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmospheres》、《Biogeosciences》等国际SCI顶级期刊上发表, 并多次在国际会议上做学术报告。
