报告人简介：Distinguished professor, Iowa State University. Professor Horton is recognized nationally and internationally for his study of coupled heat and mass transfer in soil. His fundamental work on coupled heat and mass transfer in soil has greatly enhanced understanding of climatology, water quality, agricultural production, ecosystem products and environmental investigations. Dr. Horton leads a distinguished soil physics research and teaching program. He received the Soil Science Research Award from Soil Science Society of America (SSSA), the Don and Betty Kirkham Soil Physics Award from SSSA. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Agronomy and of the SSSA.
