      杨云锋现任清华大学环境学院教授、环境模拟与污染控制国家重点联合实验室研究员。主要研究领域为环境微生物基因组学。围绕我国气候变化敏感区“碳氮周转的微生物功能特征”的重要科学问题，按照“空间格局-响应特性-周转机制-生态效应”的研究思路，研发和优化了环境基因组学先进技术，所取得的创新性成果：（1）率先解析了青藏高原微生物功能基因分布特征，发现普遍存在丰富的基因多样性；（2）揭示功能基因对环境扰动的响应特性，提炼了“功能基因对环境扰动高度敏感”的观点；（3）阐明在特定条件下基因丰度与有机质分解、温室气体通量和硝化潜势的关联，突破了国际学术界“DNA不代表活性，不适用于环境过程分析”的传统认识；（4）通过以基因丰度参数优化地学模型的方法创新，刻画了寒区土壤碳库变化规律。

      已发表了约100篇SCI论文，作为第一发明人获两项美国技术专利授权。近五年来作为第一或（共同）通讯作者在Nature Climate Change（影响因子19.181）发表了1篇学术论文、在《ISMEJ》期刊（影响因子9.520）上发表了6篇论文。2018年获国家杰出青年科学基金项目资助。

Dr. Jizhong Zhou is a George Lynn Cross Research Professor and Presidential Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Plant Biology, School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences, and Director for the Institute for Environmental Genomics, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. He is also an Adjunct Senior Scientist at Earth and Environmental Sciences, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, CA, and an Adjunct Professor at School of Environment, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He has authored more than 580 publications, with total citations of > 36,000 and H-index of 100, on microbial genomics, genomic technologies, microbial detection, molecular biology, molecular evolution, microbial ecology, bioremediation, bioenergy, global change, bioinformatics, systems biology, and theoretical ecology. He was listed as 2018 Global Highly Cited Researcher in Cross Field. He received Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers in 2001, R&D 100 Award in 2009 as one of 100 most innovative scientific and technological breakthroughs, Ernest Orlando Lawrence Award in 2014 –the highest scientific recognition in the U.S. Department of Energy, and the 2019 ASM Award for Environmental Research. He is a senior Editor for ISME J, mBio, and a former Editor for Applied and Environmental Microbiology.
